As yesterday’s image shows, I love finding a clean subject to silhouette or frame against something dramatic. . . . like a tree in a prairie fire, backlit by the sun.

This image is from a controlled fire a the Clymer Meadow Preserve.  Clymer Meadow contains some of the last remnants of the Blackland Prairie, and is managed by the Texas Nature Conservancy.  See more Clymer photos here.
