Here is a simple image of wild rye in the Great Trinity Forest framed against a deep blue sky.
As I stood there, the gentle wind through the sharp-edged wild rye was mesmerizing. I could use a fast shutter speed and get everything frozen (but lose the motion), or a really slow shutter speed and turn it into a motion abstract (but lose the sharp edges). But I wanted it all (some sharp, some in motion).
It took awhile, but I finally got one that close to what I wanted.
