The Native Prairies Association of Texas meeting yesterday was great, and hopefully it takes off as a group here in North Texas. The city of Dallas has some really nice little patches of native Blackland Prairie at White Rock, like this.
Wildflowers on remnant patch of Blackland Prairie, Winfrey Point, White Rock Lake, Dallas Texas, USA. Canon 1DX. 95mm. ISO 800. 1./50 sec. at f/16. EV +2/3. I waited as long as I could for a biker to come to the little gap and then I just missed him being exactly where I wanted him (a tiny bit to the right). Oops.
