A people called the Gnaoua inhabit parts of the Saharan Desert and Morocco and fill it with music and dance. It is a mystical, hypnotic, trance music that I really like.
Gnaoua musicians performed at the Berber tent camp after dinner. It was incredibly dark, with little light, but I decided to shoot. I photographed them somewhat sharply, gave that up and then slowed my shutter speed to capture them as more ghostly, mystical abstracts. This last abstract is my favorite shot, and perhaps my favorite image from all of Morocco.
