The ocotillo is an amazing plant found in Big Bend National Park in abundance. Usually it just looks like a tall clump of brow sticks, but when it rains, it turns green and can bloom with beautiful red flowers. I saw some amazing ocotillo patches during my trip and will show some more of those pictures soon.
