Some photo opportunities are just there – you did not sit and wait for it for hours, you did not do anything to plan for it, you just walk along, go “oooh, look at that” and take the picture.  When the gods of serendipity smile upon you, you just need one thing – a camera!

That was what happened in this Mexico City courtyard. I saw the couple kissing, which was nice, but not good enough. I needed something extra and got it when a cat almost immediately walked onto a pathway and posed nicely for me. I  maneuvered into place and clicked the shutter of my little Fuji X100. Done!
