I am at Vermejo Park Ranch in New Mexico leading my August photo workshop and managed to photograph the Perseid Meteor Shower above Castle Rock. I set up and worked two cameras. Once I got the exposure and focus set, I just set each camera so that the shutter button was held down by my cable release and it just kept taking pictures non-stop.
I set up so that the Milky Way was in the image along with the outline of Castle Rock. It was a bit frustrating because it seemed like the meteors were always just out of my composition, but I did manage to get a handful of meteors in the frame. Here is one of those, uncropped. You like?
