Today was a long and busy day. I spent the morning running around Santiago Atitlan trying to find photos. Hired a guide to take me into the lake on his small wooden boat. Tracked down some of the colorful local women to photograph, and drove around like a madman trying to find where villagers did their laundry in the lake. Toss in a flat tire on my rental suv, and I had a long morning.
The afternoon I spend driving back to Pana. Along the way, I stopped into a colorful Guatemalan cemetary in San Lucas Toliman and spent a couple of hours there. I got back in time to Pana in time to shoot a few nice images of the docks at sunset.
