I was hiking through the Great Trinity Forest awhile back when I heard a rustle. I followed it through the brush for awhile, then it stopped. Finally this young raccoon poked his head out of a stump and looked at me. Young raccoons are smart, curious and very cute. Old raccoons are smart, curious, and mean as hell. This one is still in the cute phase and just curious enough to let me take a few pics.
