Here is a head on shot of snow geese coming straight at me at Bosque del Apache NWR.

When shooting multiple subjects, I like to avoid things like overlapping wings. In my mind, this gives each subject its own personality.  When shooting action, you don’t often have time to see this in the camera – you shoot away in the field and you pick your favorite afterwards.

Hers is my favorite.
