Just west of the Trinity River Audubon Center is a beautiful seasonal pond they call the Secret Bird Pond. I have shot there a lot. It cycles from full after a season of heavy rains or a flood of the Trinity River, all the way to bone dry, then back again. Here is how it looks full.
