I just returned home from leading a really fun workshop at Block Creek Natural Area this past week. I will put up an image or two from there as soon as I get caught up. In the meantime, here is a pic from last week’s wildflower display around Ennis.
I saw this handful of bluebonnets amidst a strand of old barbed wire. Fortunately the barbed wire was already laid out in a very nice leading line through the flowers (thank you, gods of composition). All I had to do was find the right angle where the wire did not intersect with bluebonnets. The soft light and morning dew did the rest.
I quite like the yin and yang of the barbed wire and wildflowers.
