Sometimes spring wildflowers come up before other grasses, sometimes the grasses overtake the wildflowers and cover them up. Those tall grasses usually make it tough to get a good wildflower photo, but on this occasion, the grasses actually help turn this little patch of bluebonnets and indian paintbrush outside of Dallas in Ellis County into a slight abstract, and something a little bit different.
Let’s face it, we have all seen a thousand paintings and photos of bluebonnets, and getting something a bit different is always a challenge.
