I love stumbling onto photos I had forgotten about, like this little pic from New Orleans.
I took it at night along a dock near the Mississippi River. The light comes from a a sodium vapor lamp and the shadows are from a walkway. I saw saw that sun-ray illusion from across some train tracks and thought “Cool! I gotta do something with that”.
Once I got over there, I saw the conveniently placed fire hydrant and said “oh yeah”.
