Sharpness can be overrated.
Here is an image from Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana where I used a tilt-shift lens to make the long row of iconic live oak trees a bit more dreamy and abstract – a sort of deep-fried southern fever dream, if you will.
That plus the normal shots I took looked like everyone else’s, and what fun is that.
