Texas is dry and the Trinity River is no exception. It has been several years since it has flooded. When it floods, it overbanks all across the Great Trinity Forest, filling up all kinds of ephemeral ponds that harbor so much wldlife. Right now, many of those places are bone dry.
So we need a flood.
