As the sun was setting one evening behind the Chisos Mountains, I was photographing a field of wildflowers and ocotillo backlit so that they would really pop against a dark background.
I was having trouble keeping the glare under control and with the extreme contrast, but I knew there was a good photo in there somewhere. I finally noticed how the rays were starting to stream through the canyon and managed to get this shot.
