I have a photographic “sweet tooth” for the surreal, even simple things like partially submerged street-signs sticking out of Trinity River flood-water. Here are four images I shot in the recent Dallas floods. Let me know your favorite!

Here is the same sign from above, taken as the setting sun was casting a spotlight on the sign.
The stop sign west of downtown because of the way the flow of water around it is presented.
As for the first one I’d say the road ends in -400 feet. 🙂
I’m voting for # 4, the orange and yellow signs in the orange and yellow sunset. I like that they are surrounded by water as far as the eye can see, speaking of surrealism.
Number 4 is my favorite, too. A little more ambiguous, which I like.
