On my first day back to Vermejo Park Ranch last week we saw a bull elk jogging in a meadow, with a nice rack in velvet. The bull immediately took off and fortunately for us, ran parallel to the road. As we drove along side it, our Vermejo guide, James Reedy, rolled down his driver side window and it and I photographed through his window.
Since I was bouncing along quite a bit and the light was dim, I decided to just try and shoot an abstract with a slow shutter speed. I will post on my thought process (and why I shoot in aperture priority mode) later this week. This is one of the abstracts I got.
