080823_3243My studio/home is located in the heart of historic Deep Ellum, the soul of Dallas.  It is available for corporate, wedding and event rental, as well as photo/video location shoots using the studio’s varied textures and architectural features.*

When Karen and I bought the place, it was full of dead pigeons and had not been used in decades. The last usage we could find was as a Kentucky Fried Chicken processing plant (We do hear an occasional ghostly “cluck” at night  . . .)

With the help of an amazing architect, Cliff Welch, and with me doing all the finish-out construction, we have created a unique and really fun space in which to live and work.

I built it to be energy efficient as possible. It has been featured in the Dallas Morning News, on various Dallas loft tours, and on the Home and Garden TV network in the show You Live in What?

Note – If you want a location for photo and video shoots that do not need this much space or on an hourly basis, check out RockitLab, down the street from me.
