I ship my prints to you or your framer ready to be framed as you wish. I do not offer framing services myself, though I am happy to provide suggestions.
Canvas Framing
I print my images to a museum quality matt canvas, then seal it with 3-4 coats of a UV and moisture-resistant sealant. This gives it a nice non-shiny look, and even better, means that the print does not need to be framed behind glass or plexiglass like other types of papers.
Gallery Wraps
There are two general ways to frame canvas prints, as a “gallery wrap” or as a “float-mount canvas”. A gallery-wrap canvas is framed to a two inch deep frame called a stretcher, with the canvas wrapped around the edges of the stretcher. Usually the sides of the gallery wrap mirror the image (i.e. copied from 2″ inside the print and added to the outside). Here is an example.
