While shooting for Texas Audubon, I came across this lady photographing a little great horned owl on her iPhone and got out my longest lens. When you shoot with a lens longer than 50mm in effective focal length, it compresses all the subjects together, making them look like they are very close to one another. At 560mm, I got the desired effect.
